I had the incredible privilege of shooting a the 50th wedding anniversary for Kashmira and Hansraj. It was a wonderful evening full of laughter, dancing and incredible food. Here’s a little teaser of the festivities. 

Yes, it’s been hugely overdue, but at along last here it is. It was a blast shooting Jennie and Stephen’s wedding. They’re a beautiful couple and they chose a great venue for their wedding just northwest of Fort Collins, Colorado. I’ve posted the best of the best from their special day. I may fill in a few gaps over the coming days as I further review the photo catalogue.

I think you’ll be able to tell that I enjoy capturing the joy and emotion of the day along with details of all the preparation that goes into a wedding. These things are all to easily forgotten.

Occasionally I rifle through my back catalog of images. I don’t necessarily know why I do it or what I’m looking for, but I guess it’s just fun. This time around, I think I’m just bored and with a camera in for repair, I’m not shooting for a little while.

Here are some old shots from about two – three – and a half years ago that I reworked. You’ll have to take my word that they’re re-worked as I haven’t released any of these shots previously. But it’s the re-work of these images that prompted me to put them out.

So, “Case”, what were you shooting? What’s the story? – you might ask. Well, I came home this July afternoon, and, true to mid-summer form, a large thunderstorm was building on the plains east of Denver. There were some clouds over the mountains that blocked the sunlight from the west, but this large thunderstorm was catching the light to the east with an incredible orange-y golden glow. It had to be photographed. Those old pixels are certainly worth keeping around. Some say throw them out. I say, if you can, keep ‘em and keep using ‘em.

I got to do my first senior portrait shoot with Jen earlier this week. We had a great time and the shots really look great. I promised a little teaser, so here it is. Take a look!

I had the privilege of shooting a Chad and Mary just weeks before their daughter is to be born. We spent a great evening dodging rain and waiting for the sunset. Here are a few teaser shots.

It IS that time of the year! Lots of happy couples getting married and I was lucky enough to shoot for Jennie and Stephen earlier this month. This is just a teaser. More photos to come soon!
